Important Notice to all holding an Iowa Electrical License

The deadline to renew is MArch 31st! 

Iowa Electrical License Renewal Time

Starting October 1^st, Iowa Licensed Journeyman and Master Electricians can renew their state license if they have all the required CEU class hours met.  We highly recommend you look up your hours now, to make sure you have all the required hours. 

To look up your information on the website,  Home [Iowa Electrical Examining Board]  , make sure you have your password for getting on.  Look on the right side orange box Electrical Licensing System and click there to enter your information.  Once you’re on your page, click on your licence number.  This will take you to the CEU page and is listed towards the bottom of the page. 

If you have all your required hours, there will be a Check Mark next to the, CEU Hours Completed Tab right above the CEU Applied Hours (TOTAL) listed. 

If you do not see the check mark, You do not have all your required hours!!!!!!!!!

For Renewing your license, on your home page click, Renew Existing License or Submit New Application tab on the upper left side of the page.  Follow the prompts until completed.
